I cannot believe October is upon us! Where did September go? On a positive note, winter is my favourite time of the year I love winter woollies, cosy cardigans, big scarves and comfy boots as well as roaring fires and Netflix nights in!🙈📺
In September I bought some beauty products that seemed to have appeared on a lot of blogs or social networks. I’ve also mentioned a gorgeous jumpsuit from Vero Moda and a star buy pair of shoes from Penneys!
The Pippa Palette
At the start of the month I treated myself to the new Pippa palette, I bought this online from Blank Canvas. I’ve bought a lot of make up products from Blank Canvas, they are very reliable with quick delivery and postage and packaging is just €1.99!
The palette itself has a range of colours, making it easy to create both a day and night time look. It also has a highlighter, blusher and a darker bronzer (handy for contouring). The palette is small and fits neatly into your handbag and is especially handy for weekends away, as it’s so compact. I’ve worn the eyeshadows and they are long lasting!
Personally I love the lighter colours for soft day time looks. Last but not least the palette really is great value at just €34.99. P.S If you use the code ‘pippa’ you’ll receive a discount! 🙂 http://www.blankcanvascosmetics.com/products/pippa-for-blank-canvas-palette.html
Last weekend I spent Saturday in Dublin catching up with a few of my very close friends. I fell in love with my friend Siobhéal’s shoes! She told me they were from Penneys, so off we went to find the shoes. I just love these and they are an absolute steal at just €7, gorgeous with trousers, ripped jeans or leggings!
Check out Siobheal’s instagram page, she has amazing style! 😉 https://instagram.com/siobhealniceochaidh/
Mac Strobe Cream
Earlier in the month I had been recommended ‘Mac Strobe cream’. Mac products tend to be expensive so it’s always a good idea to either get your hands on a sample or buy the smaller product if you are using it for the first time. I picked up the 30ml bottle of strobe cream for just €10 on the Brown Thomas website. This is particularly great for those of you who have dry skin. Place a small amount of the cream onto both cheekbones before applying foundation and it really gives a lift and a dewy glow to the skin. It does exactly what it says on the tin, illuminates and hydrates!
You can buy it here, http://www.brownthomas.com/icat/mac and search strobe cream, or simply pick it up from your nearest Mac store!
Inglot gel liner
While visiting my sister in Galway a few weeks ago we paid a visit to Inglot. I had heard a lot about Inglot gel liner, and it was on my list for some time. I have to say the Inglot staff were really approachable, friendly and helpful! The Inglot get liner in no. 77 is great value at just €15! Again you just need just a tiny amount. Trust me this liner will NOT budge, so be sure you buy a good eye make up remover. I wear this in the water line for nights out and above the upper lashes for day wear, it makes the eyelashes looks so much fuller! This is one of my all time favourite make up products!
Vero Moda Playsuit

Two weeks ago I took part in a charity fashion show in Langton House Hotel. This show was in aid of the Carlow/Kilkenny Homecare Team & Cois Nore (Kilkenny cancer support centre). There was some gorgeous style at this show! I had to mention this lace play suit from Vero Moda which I wore. This is a handy little number to have in your wardrobe especially coming up to the Christmas season, for all those Christmas parties and nights out. This is navy, but I loved the golds in between (it also comes in cream) you could wear with or without tights. It was really comfortable to wear, great value for your wardrobe at just €59.95!

So there you have it, my September favourites. As always I’d love to know what you think ;),
