Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve wrote my last blog post so just wanted to share with you the details of my outfit for Sunday’s Leopardstown race meeting.
I love going to the races, it’s always a great day out but more so I love getting dressed up! Last Sunday wasn’t Ladie’s day however I still decided to get dressed up for the day that was in it!
Starting with my head piece. This was rented from a lady named Faith Amond. This lady has a collection of beautiful hats and head pieces and works from her home in Leighlinbridge, Co. Carlow. I always pay a visit to Faith whenever I need a hat to match my outfit, she is brilliant and has an array of other accessories available to rent.
The head piece I wore is a Whiteley design. Kate Middleton has worn this designer in the past.
The Whiteley pieces are neat, easy to wear and not too over powering. Hence when it wasn’t Ladie’s day I wanted something that was comfortable and not too over the top. The soft wool like material was also very fitting for this time of the year.
The dress I wore was bought from a boutique in Kilkenny, this is Serendipity Boutique on Kieran Street. https://m.facebook.com/www.serendipityboutique.ie
These dresses are known as Diva dresses. These are a must have for your wardrobe they can be worn again and again and are machine washable, so no need to worry about dry cleaning! What’s great about the Diva dress is the styles that are available. There are long sleeves, capped shoulders or sleeveless styles to choose from.
As you can see these dresses also come in an variety of colours, perfect for any special occasion. I’ve invested in a few and also won best dressed lady in the past wearing a Diva dress!

These dresses are very flattering on, they are priced in or around β¬130, but are definitely a lifetime investment!
Next to my shoes! β€ Even if I do say so myself I am in LOVE with my shoes. These shoes were bought in Primark in the United Kingdom last weekend. They were bought for Β£14/β¬20. I posted these on my instagram account last week and so many of you had commented, so I really hope the are available somewhere in Ireland over the next few weeks! https://www.instagram.com/Sineaddeblogger/
I think they look as good as Valentinos! These shoes really set off the outfit and added a pop of colour to the look.
Last but not least my coat. Again I return to my favourite boutique for this, Serendipity. This was actually bought as a present to me from my mum a number of years ago. It’s one of those statement pieces every woman needs in their wardrobe,Β especially this time of the year. A good black coat!
The length of the coat dresses up the look instantly here. I tend to avoid long coats as I’m not very tall but this one is a good length, just to the knee.
What I love about this coat is the ruffles all down the centre. I’ve had this coat over four years. Each year I store it away during milder months and take it out again every winter. While we may need to pay more for these pieces, it’s the timeless factor and good quality that matters! This coat is a Libra brand and was bought for β¬150.
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, here’s to 2016! π
Happy shopping,
SinΓ©ad π
