I’m dying to share this newest product with you guys. Last week I was kindly send the newest foundation to Maxfactor shelves. This is the Max Factor lasting performance touch – proof foundation.

The shade I am using is (106) Natural beige and it is perfect for my skin tone, I’m a little on the sallow side so this shade was a perfect match for me.

3 P’s – Packaging.

Being brutally honest here, there is nothing to write home about in this area. Packaging is plain & simple with the Max Factor logo. This is a 35 ml size, plastic packaging so to be fair it is handy for your handbag or for travelling.

Nowadays and within the makeup industry the most sought after look is the ‘natural’ look. People want flawless make up but at the same time achieving the ‘no make up look’. People want soft, dewy glowing looks. Well this can be achieved with this product.

 

I always bring it back to basics. No matter WHAT the foundation your base (skin) has to be good in order for foundation to look and last it’s best. Hence prep and priming skin is essential.

Having set my base, I applied a small amount of this liberally all over the face, honestly I couldn’t believe how light it felt. It’s very much like the Mac face and body. It has that texture and that light weight finish.

Surprisingly the coverage is pretty good too with this product. It’s tones help to hide skin redness in particular.

Like any foundation to ensure longevity the product must be set with a setting powder, having worn this last week in work ( that is nursing & 13 hour shifts), it’s longevity is good too.

Price point for this product is excellent, at just €13.99 you are sure to get your monies’ worth out of this.  The foundation itself is available in 6 different shades too, with a great selection and catering for lots of skin tones.

This product would be ideal for holidays, day time makeup or warm days here at home.
