My top 6 Benefit products

Happy Tuesday everyone!

If you are following me on Snapchat lately (@sineaddeblogger) you’ll know I’ve been using lots of Benefit’s make up products, they’ve also released some new products lately which I’ve got to try and loved!

  1. Hoola

Hoola matte bronzing powder is one of the oldest products on Benefit shelves and one which I’ve been using for years. While it can be used as a bronzer, I prefer to use it for contouring. This product is really compact and handy for travelling. It’s neat and fits easily into your make up bag. The product itself is not too dark and I find it really suitable for Irish skin tones. Hoola comes with a mini brush too which is ideal for application, it is thin and helps for those who may not be too confident in contouring. It’s also ‘matte’ in colour which adds to a natural contour and sculpt. I use this as a daily contour, because its not too dark. Hoola retails at €34.00, a little pricey however it will last you months, so see it as an investment. You can shop it here https://www.benefitcosmetics.com/ie/en-gb/product/hoola.

2. Ka- BROW!

Ka-BROW! easily is one of my ALL time favourite brow products! I literally love EVERYTHING about this product from the packaging to the application tool behind it to the product itself. Ka-BROW is a gel eyebrow filler. The concept and thinking behind this product is very clever and similar to Hoola it’s very compact. Ka-BROW! contains a really fine brush which allows for precise application of product for your brows.  As well as this the length of the handle is small ensuring you’ll get the perfect match for both brows (something which is always difficult!).  The product itself lasts well once on your brows however it can dry out. If this happens simply add a drop of Duroline (available from Inglot) and it softens the product for you. I cannot recommend this product enough! It’s available in six different shades and I wear shade number 4 (medium). This product retails at €26.00 and will last you AGES. Shop it here https://www.benefitcosmetics.com/ie/en-gb/product/ka-brow.

3. Boi-ing airbrushed concealer.

I received this product just last week and have NOT stopped using it since I got it! This is the boi-ing airbrushed concealer. This product is such a creamy concealer despite giving amazing coverage. It’s also really lightweight especially around the eye area. It’s not ‘cakey’ on fine lines and blends really well with a mini beauty blender. This retails at €24 and it’s available in three different shades! I’m wearing shade number 2. This is a great price point too for the amount of product you get, it’s sure to last you a long time. Shop this here https://www.benefitcosmetics.com/ie/en-gb/product/boi-ing-airbrush-concealer.

4.  They’re REAL! mascara

Generally I’m not keen on mascaras, I usually find they are all the same and don’t do much for me (I’m a fake lash kind of gal), however the only mascara I have ever re-bought is the ‘They’re REAL’ mascara by Benefit. It helps to both lengthen and add volume to lashes from tip to end. Remember to use the end of the wand at the outer part of your lases for even more length. This mascara retails at €26.00 and you can buy it here https://www.benefitcosmetics.com/ie/en-gb/product/theyre-real-mascara.

5. Hoola quickie contour stick

One of Benefit’s newest products to the market is the Hoola quickie contour stick. Generally I find cream contours can be hard to blend, however this is not the case with this. Benefit always get it right with their packaging too, this is presented in beautiful rose gold packaging. As well as this the top of the cream contour is in a dome shape to ensure easy application. The cream contours contains cream to powder formula, meaning it lasts better, personally I like to add some hoola bronze over this for a more intensified contour if I am creating a night time make up look. For people new or weary of cream contours I suggested trying this, it’s not too dark and blends well! This retails at €30.00 and you can buy it here https://www.benefitcosmetics.com/ie/en-gb/product/hoola-quickie-contour-stick.

6. Porefessional face primer

Want smooth skin before make up application? Then this is what you need. This primer is amazing to minimize the look of pores and help smoothen skin prior to make up application. As well as this it is slightly moisturising on the skin, so skin is softer and make up blends a little easier.

What’s great about this product as you can apply it as a ‘top up’ for areas you find pores may be more prominent, even with your foundation on. It retails at €34 and you can buy it here https://www.benefitcosmetics.com/ie/en-gb/product/the-porefessional.  This is a MUST for your make up bag!

Remember if you are not keen on buying a full sized product, Benefit have an array of products to buy in ‘mini’ format so you don’t need to pay full price to try a product out!

Happy shopping gals,

Sinéad x
