So I’m sure we’ve all seen huge hype this a/w with the check blazer. This statement piece seems to be EVERYWHERE this year and I have to say I love it.

It’s an effortless way to add a chic finish to your look, or simply to dress up a look. I purchased this one just a few weeks from H & M. It was a steal but for just €39.99!

Size wise, I opted for a size 6, I generally tend to be an 8 on top but these are a little bigger than your average sizes. As well as this because it’s a blazer it’s a bigger fit, so best to drop a size! Length wise it’s just right, if you are on the shorter end (like me 5’4), it won’t swamp you!

I added black boots to complete my look!

Returning to H & M I’m wearing a v neck tee shirt, slightly oversized. Ideal for a casual look over jeans or a leather skirt too! Change the look then to your statement blazer by adding a print t-shirt under!

Other options include wearing with a skirt and tights, knee high boots or leather leggings.

The check blazer is a big trend and must have this a/w!
