Happy Sunday!

I’m home after a fab two night getaway to the gorgeous city of Paris. Before heading away I really thought about what I wanted to wear seeing as Paris is one of the world’s top fashion cities!

In keeping with Parisian style I created this look which is all available on the V by Very section from Littlewoods.ie

French style is depicated by their ‘beret’ hats. In keeping with this I was dying to get my hands on one of these and found the perfet one from Littlewoods.ie. I wanted a bright colour so this light grey worked perfectly with the check skirt. As well as this it has gorgeous finish with the little pearls placed all over.

Next to my poncho, it was 3 degrees during the day over there so I wanted something cosy but comfortable to wear when wondering the streets of Paris. The wool in this poncho is particularly soft it has an altered finish and a thick high neck. Perfect for these cold winter months! Next to my skirt which I LOVE! In keeping with a ‘monochrome’ look of grey and black I added this check skirt. A check skirt seems to make a come back every year and is a statement piece for your winter wardrobe! I opted for a size 8 in this it is a little on the smaller side so bear that in mind when shopping. To finish the look I added a soft knee high black boot. Similar to the skirt a black knee high boot is one you will get tonnes of wear from each winter. For walking these are perfect as there is no heel!

Lastly to my accessories I mean can you cope with THE BAG?! I wanted to add a splash of colour to this look and what better way then a fluffy red bag! I fell in LOVE with this when I saw it online, it has a gold chain and the red material is the softest ever!
