Happy Sunday all,

Last week you may have noticed I was snap happy in Cavan at the gorgeous Hotel Kilmore! They kindly invited me down to their wedding fair and I was genuinely so taken aback by this gorgeous venue!

The staff
The first thing I was blown away by in this hotel is how lovely the staff and management are. Hotel Kilmore is a family run business and you can tell this just from the moment you step inside the doors. Willingness to help and just friendliness of staff really shines through.

The Venue
The hotel is HUGE and they have also recently built on more. There are small rooms to cater for the smaller wedding or civil ceremonies and then there are they big rooms, when they are decorated they literally took my breath away!

Just some of the decor which caught my eye was the stunning ‘aisle love you’ decor, these blossom like trees come in an array of colour and design and are the perfect way to decorate your room for the big day!

The bridal suite

There’s not one but TWO bridal suites to choose from by picking the Hotel Kimore as your wedding venue. As mentioned the Hotel Kilmore have been busy renovating and in recent times have created a new bridal suite, it simply is to die for!

The older bridal suite is still very beautiful, cosy and just what you would like the night of your big day!

The wedding fair

After the viewing the stunning hotel the wedding fair begun! Stepping into the main room there was a huge array of stands catering for all aspects needed for your big day! I tried to get around to as many as I could so here’s an idea of some people I met.

Instaglam Photobooth

Having met the guys on numerous occasions you are defiantly in for a great time, their selfie mirror provides the ultimate full-length selfies alongside their array of props to add to the fun. The best part about this is the instant pictures you receive after the pics are taken! You can write the bride and grooms names under the snaps, such a fab keepsake and memories that you will always have!
The Candy Bar

Another stall that caught my eye was the candy bar! The gorgeous cart means your guests are spoilt with treats on the day of your wedding as well as this you can have little pots of popcorn on each table, so cute!

 

Bouquets & Banquets

While on the subject of treats I met John from Bouquets to Banquets, who makes his own cakes AND provides floral arrangements. That’s definetly hassel free to have both those aspects of your wedding covered by one company! I also tasted some of the cakes, they were amazing!

 

Eileen Brady Millinery

I met the lovely Eileen at her stand, Eileen is a local Cavan lady, milliner and can make a head piece to suit your relatives or mum of the bride for that big day!

Hair & Make up
Make up artists have you covered I got to see some of the fab work by Alli Mc Guire & Glenda Curry who did some beautiful soft bridal looks on the models!

Hair was also covered by the fab girls in Marcella hair salon based in Cavan town itself!

Honeymoons
Trying to decide on a honeymoon? Travel consultant Nadine Farrelly from travelcounsellors.ie has you covered for tailor made honeymoons to continue the wedding celebrations abroad!

Bridal wear
Bridal wear on the day was covered by some stunning bridal shops including My Fair lady, Graceful Occasions & Love Ellie. Each wedding dress was a beautiful as the next!

All the looks were modelled by models from Celia Holman Lee Agency! While looks were showcased the fashion show was hosted by the lady herself Celia Holman Lee. Her experience from working in the fashion and beauty industry really shown through and she was a pleasure to listen too!

There weren’t just bridal looks, the most stunning wedding guest and mother of the bride attire was shown on the day too! Beautiful looks were shown from GASP and Olivia Danielle boutique!

Above is just SNIPPETS of an amazing, jam -packed day. The crowd and volume of people who attended this fair said enough about how in demand this venue is for weddings!
