As we step into the month of April (can you believe it’s April already by the way?!) I wanted to share with you some of my favorites which I got try over the last few weeks! Some of these brands I am completely new to while others you’ll know I love, and have done for some time! Also before we start can we have a moment for my faaaaab new makeup bag? You can shop them here: https://pinku.co.uk/shop/ and get your own personalized too!
Blush Make Up Ireland- Baked Blush.
As you all know at this stage I am loud and proud Blush make up Ireland’s brand ambassador. Blush make up is different because it is mineral based. Hence no nasties – and the ingredients are natural. I am new to their baked blushers, and they are just beautiful!
I am generally not one for blushers and feel that we (us Irish that is) tend to shy away from these due to our skin tone being slightly red, this however is a perfect shade – not too pink but gives a really healthy and radiant look to the skin, and the best thing is it’s mineral based! Mineral makeup also contains a natural SPF! So all in all your skin can only benefit from these products. You can shop them here (retailing at €17): https://www.blush.ie/product-page/baked-blush-plumeria I’m wearing shade ‘rose gold’.
NOTE matte/moist lipstick.
NOTE is a brand of makeup I really need to use more of! I have heard a lot about the quality and pigment of their lipsticks, considering how affordable they are. I am a nude lippie lover – and this is a shade I’ve fallen in love with! This lippie is unique as it has a matte moist finish so it doesn’t dry out lips. I’m using the shade 301- spirit. It’s a fab one for a day or night or a smokey eye.
Declaré Bi-Phase sensative eye make up remover
I am a big love of this brand of skin care, and now this product too! This product even removes the toughest of gel liners. What’s great about this is you literally only need the smallest amount and it will easily remove heavy duty eye makeup. The skin surrounding the eye area is so delicate, it’s actually the thinnest skin of the body. So when you are removing makeup or using products on this area we have to be so careful. What’s great about this product is that it contains hyaloronic acid, so it has added benefits for the skin while removing your makeup quickly and easily! This is such a good price at €19.95 and is sure to last you moths! You can shop it here: https://www.meagherspharmacy.ie/declare-65412/
Urban Decay – Naked petite heat.
I am a big lover of the Urban Decay palettes, as I’m sure many of you are. However I particularly love the idea of this! It is petite and literally the PERFECT one for heading away for a weekend. The colours chosen in this are clever too, 6 gorgeous shades to take you from day to night! I love the burnt orange tones, and the great thing about these shades is they work well on all eye colours! This retails at €28.80 on Debenhams! https://www.debenhams.ie/search/urban+decay+heat+petit
Bourjois Paris healthy mix foundation
So we have all heard beauty bloggers chatting about this product right? I’ve been dying to get my hands on it and try to see what all the fuss was about, so I picked this up in my local pharmacy. Bourjois healthy mix is said to contain your vitamins such as Vit C, E B5. This product really gives a fabulous glow but I really can’t say it lasts. I tend to trial a product’s longevity during a shift in work – generally 13 hours. I’d recommend a powder with this. If I had to rate it I would still give it an 8/10 as the glow is stunning, maybe a nice one for heading out for dinner when you are holidaying abroad? A nice one too for the ‘no makeup look’.
They are just some of my March favorites! Have you tried any of these products? If so let me know!
Happy shopping!
