I am finally getting a chance to sit down and write a blog post about our experience with Air Transat!

I recently went on a trip to Toronto to visit my sister and I booked my flights with Air Transat.

After booking my flights I popped it up on my Instagram stories to get some thoughts from those who had used the airline in particular travelling from Ireland to Canada, and the feedback was really positive! Having had a crazy amount of weddings and hen parties this year we were on the hunt for some reasonably priced flights and thankfully I found them via this airline! We paid €550 each for direct flights from Dublin to Toronto. The great thing about this is there is also a FREE baggage allowance of 23kg – per person. Plenty of room considering I am one of the worst packers!

Option Plus

A follower had mentioned their option plus package after mentioning the airline on my social media, so I looked into this. This is a great option if you would like a little extra on your flight over.

This also includes a comfort kit, an alocholic beverage and seat selection! A great opportunity to nab the extra leg room. As well as this the comfort kit is so handy. It includes a blanket, ear plugs and eye mask. Absolute ESSENTIALS for a long journey.  Our flight back was Canadian nighttime, so we managed to get some sleep over the 6 hour journey. Before we checked into our flight home from Toronto the airport was crazy busy. Option plus gave us the option of skipping queues and getting checked in faster.

Club Class

Club class with Air Transat is the ultimate experience! I feel very grateful to have been treated to this by the airline on our flight over.  Club class added to the excitement of going on holidays and I barely felt the 7 hour flight.

From the extra leg room to the bigger chairs to the food and in flight entertainment! It was such a treat! It was the little things with Club Class that I loved such a pair of slippers (comfort is key while travelling), a glass of champagne when you get on to the plane, reclinable chairs and the hand cream and lip balm included in the comfort kit. Also don’t forget to check out their Irish coffees, A-m-a-zing!

I didn’t want to get off the flight after our club class experience, it was that fab!

From landing at airline desk in Dublin airport to the air hostess’ it really was one of the nicest experiences and flights I have had I highly recommend this airline for a trip away and I definitely plan on travelling with them again!
