Happy Saturday!

So for New Year’s Eve this year we decided to spend it at home in Kilkenny. We were kindly invited to stay in the Hibernian Hotel based on 1 Ormode Street, which for those who may not know is smack bang in the middle of everything in Kilkenny city! I had stayed in the Hibernian last year and loved it.

This time, we stayed in the most beautfiul suite! This is known as the Berkely Suite, and overlooks Kilkenny Castle. Every detail in this room was just gorgeous. This room has a stunning four poster bed, a fireplace not to mention the old style shutters on the window, I literally did not want to leave!

Next to the bathroom, which firstly was huge! From the mirror decor to the shower every detail is stunning. Not to mention the attention to details from the Paul Costelloe body lotions to heated towel hangers.

We ate in Harpers while staying in Hibernian, which is their own restaurant based in the hotel. We had ate here previously and really loved the food. If you do decide to eat her I recommend the chicken wings to start!

Plus the lamb as a main!
