Fave beauty products during lockdown πŸ”—

Happy Tuesday everyone!

It’s been a while since I have sat down and wrote a blog post, but now my days off mean more time. So I thought the first one to write about was about some of latest favourite products I am loving, particularly during quarantine life.

CND Nail Varnish

What better way to start some self-care than with some nail painting! Let’s face it none of us can get our nails done, so why not try some DIY. The CND collection is divine, their array of colours is endless. Honestly, I find it super relaxing now to paint my nails on my days off. The more I paint, the better I get. The great thing about these polishes is their longevity. I always use the top coat to finish, this helps with making the finished look smoother and protects the varnish, hence a longer lasting polish. The polishes retail at approximately €12.00, and will last you ages. Here is a link to shop: https://millies.ie/collections/cnd-creative-nail-acadamy.

Nuxe multi-purpose dry oil

I absolutely love Nuxe, especially their dry oils! More so the fact they are multi-purpose too. This oil can be used all over your body, face and hair. They are available in smaller travel size bottles too, which I have myself. This product is also available with a shimmer, so you can apply after you tan and shower for a gorgeous glow. The products makes for another gorgeous self-care pick me up mid quarantine. Here is a link to shop it: https://www.lloydspharmacy.ie/skincare/bodycare/nuxe-prodigieuse-dry-oil-50ml.

Yonka micellar cleansing water

Another must have, and such a gorgeous product! If you haven’t yet tried Yonka, it is a gorgeous skincare range. I particularly love this product as it doesn’t leave it feeling dry after use, but rather hydrated while cleansing the skin and removing makeup. It even removes Inglot gel liner (which is the toughest liner to move!). If you are not working makeup most days I would also use this a simple pre-cleanse and then start your usual cleanse at night time. It retails in or around the €30 mark and you can shop it here: https://eyrebrushed.ie/shop/skincare/cleansers/yon-ka-essentials-eau-micellaire-micellar-water/ A nice little product to add to your skincare collection mid quarantine.

CeraVe Body moisturiser

Love, love, love the CeraVe body moisturisers! (Their hand cream is also brilliant). There is nothing like a good moisturiser after showering, especially if you have been exfoliating! This moisturiser feels luxurious, it’s thick but yet very quick drying. Really gorge on the skin! It retails at €16.99 for a very large tub (454g). It’s the little things to help make you feel better in quarantine, right?!

Alfaparf Milano reparative mask

Love, love LOVE this product! I actually just bought this again this week. This hair mask is the ultimate feel good product mid lockdown. I have this months, as a little goes a long way and I just apply to the ends of my hair. If you frequently style or use heat on your hair, this is a gorgeous mask to keep you hair feeling soft. As well as this with continuous use it has helped to strengthen my hair, especially the ends where it gets the most hit with styling. Price is between €16-€17 but will last you ages! You can shop the product here: https://www.rustiqsalon.com/product/reconstruction-mask/ or Millies.ie

Ella & Jo hyaluronic mist spray

If you’ve been following me for a while you’ll know this is my go to product daily. Especially when I am working, I usually have a bottle at home and a bottle in my handbag. I use this product prior to makeup application, after makeup application and as a refresher or during a long day. Particularly if you are wearing makeup all day. Aside from all that it’s just a gorgeous product to wear on makeup free days. During work, the dry air plays havoc on my skin so I love spritzing this at lunchtime, a gorge pick me up. This is another perfect pamper product mid quarantine. They currently have a limited orange blossom on sale too, retailing at €25.00: https://ellaandjo.ie/shop/3in1-limited-edition-hyaluronic-skin-mist/

Declare Ocean’s best mask

Last but not least. Again, this another one of my long term fave products, which I’ve regularly shared, If you are looking for a little pick me up whether its a refresher or some re-hydration this a lovely product, it will last you a few months and won’t cost an arm and a leg. I usually apply this after my skincare at night time and sleep with it on overnight. Another trick is to pop into the fridge for a little while before applying for instant calming feeling on the skin. Declare is widely available in most Irish pharmacies nationwide, however here is a link if you’d like to shop it online: https://beautessential.com/product/declare-oceans-best-mask/. A 75ml bottle will cost you approximately €30.

What’s your favourite product during quarantine?! Let me know!
