A night away in Oriel House Hotel!

Happy Monday!

You may have seen I was recently invited down to stay in the stunning Oriel House hotel in Cork. Oriel house is based in Ballincollig which is approximately 15 minutes outside Cork city centre.

On arrival to the hotel, I was genuinely taken aback by the stunning interior and just how quirky a hotel it was! We grabbed lunch firstly in their bar/restaurant area, from the snaps below you can see how modern the interior is. There is a buffet if you wish or you can order food. For a Thursday evening, the place was so busy!

This said enough about the food and service here. If you are eating here I recommend their salmon super food salad, it is amazzzing!

Next we got to check into our gorgeous room! For us the room was literally the highlight of the trip. If you are heading away for a weekend with your mum, partner or just the girls – this is the perfect getaway destination. Stepping into the room, I let out a gasp! Every detail of the room was gorgeous. From the lampshades to the bedding, to the tables and chairs to the finish on the walls. Even the bed bench made it feel homely!

Next to the bathroom, the shower is huge and the toilet is not just your average – there’s an old style toilet as well as huge mirrors (handy for doing your makeup!).

The area where we stayed was the Eilis collection, check out their website to have a look at some of the other gorgeous rooms. As you enter the Eilis collection it’s like going back in time, very old school but beautiful.

As a big coffee lover this little coffee dock caught my eye the following day. A dedicated area for all coffee lovers!

We browsed around the hotel before we checked out I managed to grab some photo ops at the quirkiest of furniture, even their bathrooms (which are newly renovated) are amazing!

I am already planning a tripback to the fab hotel, thank you to the guys for having us down! Oriel house hotel also have a gym and lesisure which I plan on checking out the next time I go down there! For more information and bookings check out there website: https://www.orielhousehotel.ie/index.html.

Happy travels,

Sinead x
