Blush Make Up- The Review.

Happy Monday all!

Hope you all had a fab weekend. A few weeks ago you may remember I was asked into Blush Make up & Nail salon based on Ormonde Street, Kilkenny to have my make up done!

Blush is situated in Boston Belle Salon. They provide gel and shellac nails as well as HD brows and make up application.

When leaving Nicola the owner kindly gave my a fab goodie bag of Blush make up products to try out! Over the weekend I had a wedding which gave me a good opportunity to suss out the quality of the products.

The Primer

The first product to try was the Blush primer. Only a tiny amount of product is needed when applying this. This primer is particularly light on the skin.
This product is priced at €18. What is great about this product is the value for money and the amount of product you get for what you pay! I found this really good and really helped keep my foundation in place all day!

The foundation.

I fell in love with this foundation the minute I had it applied to my skin last week! This foundation feels just like a light moisturizer and gives the feeling that you are wwearing little or no make up!

The reasoning behind this is that it is mineral liquid powder based. Hence allowing the skin a chance to breath. Coverage wise is quite good too, however you may need a little extra concealer for breakouts.

However I intend on using this for work and my 13 hour days as I feel it gives my skin a chance to breath! Last but not least the foundation photographs really well.

Eye shadow primer.

The next product I used was the eye shadow primer. Again there is a huge amount of product for what you pay (€10).

I don’t use eye shadow primer near enough as I should, and it is one of those things which is really important with make up application.

This is especially important when you want your make up to LAST. I used this at the weekend for a wedding. As you know weddings are an all day (nearly all night) affair! I for one love the dance floor but it doesn’t love my make up when Isweat. This product will ensure your long hard eye makeup work will not budge- in fact even into the early hours of the morning!

Liquid Lipstick

The girls were so sweet and had researched my instgram (@sinead_deblogger) to learn that I LOVE nudes! Hence Nicola gave me this stunning nude lip gloss.

This is a large bottle, bigger than usual lip gloss sizes. This lippie is €18. What I love about this is the touch of pink in this nude.

This lip gloss lasts great, even after eating it didn’t wear off like others. I always pop this in my handbag perfect for day wear or night wear!

The Bronzer

Last but not least, the girls also gave me the Blush bronzer (shade congo). An absolute nesscity for any make up bag! This bronzer is priced at €35, it is very pigmented and has a lovely shimmer. I’ve used this as a powder contour too. It’s neat compact and has a handy little mirror too!

All in all I was really impressed with the Blush make up range. I was seriously impressed with my make application too by owner Nicola. I am usually very cagey about who does my make up as I love doing my own, but I would really reccomend these ladies. As well as this they are so friendly and warm, making your experience in Blush even better!

Blush is also located in Clonmel. To finish Blush is hypoallergenic and sensitivity tested. It us paraben-free and contains Vit A, D & E. As well this the products are fragrance and talc free, hence suitable for all skin types!
